I spent most of my early years of motherhood holding an empty cup. I believed, as I was raised — that our children need to come first. I let perfection warp my reality and I allowed all of my goals and dreams lay dormant and unforgotten. I bought into the notion that there wasn’t enough time for me.
Time away from our families is beneficial for all, just not always possible. Thus, the creation of the sack lunch mini retreat: a four-hour break from all responsibilities in the middle of the day when the kids are at school. This made sense to women and my mini-retreats quickly filled and continue to attract women, not just moms, needing to unplug from their stresses and responsibilities and plug into themselves. The value and restorative results from recharging over a short time teaches women the possibility of what can happen when we create space and time in our hectic lives on a daily basis. Instilling my belief that we all have the ability to refill physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually while pulling from our storehouse of fuel within. Furthermore, when we do so we don’t have to live our lives holding an empty cup.
Like you, I’m a seeker looking for connection and meaning beyond the definitions of our roles and responsibilities. As I began to make my own needs a priority by filling my own cup, first, I became a Certified Transformational Master Life Coach in 2012. I began teaching for Seattle Life Coach Training and became a Lead Facilitator from 2013 to 2019. During this time I continued holding my sack lunch Mini-Retreats for women, created custom Private Retreats, led Teen Workshops, spoke at MamaCon, PTSA meetings, radio shows on 1150 KKNW, created a mindfulness tool – Anchored Deck – given hundreds of Inspirational Card Readings, raised our two children who are currently, ages 14 and 17, and grew my Private Coaching Practice.
I coach clients around the world over the phone. My current clientele consists, of women, men and teenagers. We all need refills, not just moms. Everyone feels the benefit of our filled cup and YES, there is time to that, even with all you are juggling. I will guide you on your journey with accountability using my intuition and practical action steps equipping you to hold a full cup. Inviting you to step fully into the life you crave, the way of living you desire.
I am a believer in caring for our soul and that is what I refer to as our cup. This is what matters in life, this is where the juiciness dwells. If this journey of coaching, training, guiding and facilitating a thousand or more souls while nurturing my own has taught me anything it has opened my eyes to the realization that as mothers we get to care for our needs and when we do so the entire family benefits. As women, we get to teach our children the vital necessity of practicing soul care. And as human beings, we collectively are a ripple of love, joy, and peace when we value and prioritize our needs, dreams, goals, and desires.
I am grateful for the lessons learned from holding an empty cup — so that I can pass on to you the value of holding a Full Cup.
